VERY SPECIAL DOGGIES

Sometimes we take in a doggie that is old or has a chronic problem. Often the dogs have been neglected. These little ones will never be adopted They stay in "permanent foster" where they receive ongoing vet care, a warm lap, lot of love. The "special needs" foster families provide the food, bedding, attention, and affection that allows these dogs to live out their time happily for as long as they can be comfortable. YCRAA pays the vet bills. Donations to allow us to continue doing this are most welcome!

Max came into rescue weighing a mere 3 1/2 pounds. He was found wandering the streets in Massachusetts. He has a full set of totally rotten teeth. This has caused him to incur a grade 5-6 heart murmur. He also has a hernia and grade 4 luxating patellas and has not been neutered. He was a very sick little boy.He was taken to a vet and started on antibiotics for his dental disease and two meds for his heart problem. His teeth must be removed for him to have any chance of survival. This is scheduled to be done soon. In the meantime, he is doing better by taking his meds, and we are beefing him up for his surgery.
Max is just the sweetest little guy and shows his appreciation for being given a warm and loving home and the chance to feel better with proper veterinary care ... for whatever time he has left. Max's legs have gotten stronger and he now does a little happy dance - his tail wags feverishly and the glow of love shines from his eyes. He's grateful for YCRAA's care for the little ones like him who so deserve YCRAA's help.
Your donations make it possible for YCRAA to help this little boy. Max wishes to thank all of you who donate to YCRAA. Please make a donation for Max and all the other dogs who so desperately need our help. It is with your help that we can continue to help the "Very Special Dogs" and other dogs that can move on to find new homes and make a human and dog's "Happy Ending" come true.
